Megan Thee Stallion came to social media to introduce fans to her new “son,” Tyger.
The rapper reveals that she visited a kill shelter, where she met the pitbull and couldn’t bear the idea of the dog being euthanized.
“Okay, so you guys, I’ve rescued a dog because I was yesterday years old when I found that there’s such thing as a kill shelter and they are putting down dogs when they cannot find them a home,” she said in a video. “That is insane.”
Megan continued, “I said, ‘No way. Just give him to me. I’ll take him.’”
Megan is already a dog mom to her French bulldog, “4oe,” who is a parent in his own right after fathering puppies. “I don’t know how 4oe is gonna feel about this, I don’t know 4oe kids is gonna feel about this, but we had to save him,” said Megan.

Megan Thee Stallion Booked and Busy
The rapper, who is currently starring as “Zidler” in Broadway’s “Moulin Rouge,” said she is devastated to learn that perfectly healthy dogs are euthanized, so she adopted the dog, who was scheduled to be killed the following day, home.
Earlier this month, Megan and her NBA star boyfriend, Klay Thompson, celebrated her dog, “4oe’s” fourth birthday. Megan posted the celebration on Instagram, showing the frenchie sitting at a table with a crown and a birthday shirt with dog cookies and new toys for him to enjoy.

“Happy birthday to my sonnnn [blue heart, dog paws, and crown emojis],” Megan captioned the carousel of photos.
4oe is no stranger to the celebrity lifestyle. He has his own Instagram account and appeared alongside Megan on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in 2022.
In addition, the up-and-coming actress is starring in and creating her own original anime. Megan has been an outspoken and well-known anime enthusiast, discussing and dressing up as her favorite characters and even writing songs about her passion for Japanese animation. At Houston’s Dreamcon last year, she revealed that she was working on her ideal anime, “Hotties,” with Boondocks writer and voice actor Carl Jones.
Megan is on Broadway in “Moulin Rouge” until May 17th.
