Kendall Jenner has shared on Instagram that she has been struggling with her anxiety lately. She followed this up by giving tips on how to manage these anxious feelings.
On Monday, Jenner shared the following to her Instagram followers:
The model then described some techniques such as deep breathing, journaling, and taking in her surroundings. Jenner shared in the same Instagram post what she had done that morning combat her anxiety:
“today i started my day off with:
“• 10 deep inhales/exhales before even touching my phone.
“• went in my yard and journaled
“• wrote down all the things i’m looking forward to today/this month.
“• expressed gratitude for all of my blessings.
“• took in the sun
“• had my tea and practiced some more deep breathing.”
Kendall encouraged her followers to practice those techniques too, so they can better their mental health.
Last year, the model shared that her anxiety had begun at a young age. She admitted that she had shortness of breath, and that she confronted her mother about it. Kendall’s mental health has worsened with fame, and she has explained that it has caused her to experience physical symptoms. This includes a time she had thought her heart was failing and she couldn’t breathe. She thought she was dying, but it turned out to be a symptom of her anxiety.
