Crystal Leigh – Red Couch Session

Date:

Crystal tries to approach her life in a delicate balance, taking the good as well as the bad that comes with it. Her energy and love of life is ingrained in her optimistic outlook on life and as she says it, “I’m gonna get where I’m gonna get, when I need to get there”.

Crystal grew up in Southern California and has been around music her entire life. She has mentioned that when she took center stage, it sort of emboldened her and gave her a feeling of confidence and newfound love for performing. While growing up in California she experienced a wide variety of musical styles and cultures that have helped her develop her own style as a songwriter.

She has mentioned that her vocals have been influenced by many different sounds and artist over the years, such as Linda Rondstadt and The Eagles, as well as some more modern artist such as Kacey Musgraves. Crystal hopes to inspire others with her music and help others have a sense of excitement for what the future may hold for them.

It was such a pleasure to have Crystal in the IndieSpark studio with us where she performed two of her songs “Get Gone” and “Trading Skylines”. Make sure to check out Crystal Leigh and everything she is doing on her official website www.crystalleighmusic.com.
